I didn't want one which was just waterproof, I wanted it to have some warmth too and this does this. However personally I would still put a fleece or sweat top underneath when used in the conditions this is meant for.I bought the 12-18 month size, as my daughter is right in the middle of that range, and is quite tall and slim. This suit fits her perfectly in terms of body, arm and sleeve length but is tight around the waist - there is not much space for clothes underneath and I doubt I would get her into this when she is 18 months old, unless she was only dressed in a body suit and t-shirt. 12 of 12 people found the following review helpful  Love it and its pink !!, By This review is from: Regatta Splosh Kids Leisurewear All-in-One Suit (Sports) Bought this snowsuit for my 16 month old daughter, bought the 18-24 months for extra wear and am happy with the fit as I knew it would be generous on her as she is quite petit in frame. So its got extra leg and arm space for her to grow into.Its quite warm and has a fleece hood. One leg zips full length like a coat. So easy to get in and out of ok. Also it is so cute to wear out!!
